In the spirit of partnership, a Team from EAC RCE-VIHSCM led by Dr. Stephen Karengera, the Centre’s Director, embarked on a partnership visit to two esteemed institutions in Kenya, with the objective of exploring potential avenues for collaboration.
The team first met with Regal Pharmaceuticals Ltd on April 16 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya, and engaged in productive discussions with the company’s leadership, headed by Mr. Rohin Vora, the Director along other officials.
Subsequently, on April 17th, the RCE team also visited KAVI Institute of Clinical Research (KAVI-ICR), University of Nairobi, Kenya and was received by the Director, Prof. Walter Godfrey Jaoko, and other officials.
The discussions during these visits focused on various areas of potential collaboration, including student field attachments, research initiatives, and training programs. The RCE is particularly enthusiastic about the possibilities that arise from partnering with both Regal Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and KAVI-ICR. By leveraging our collective strengths and resources, we aim to create mutually beneficial opportunities that enhance academic experiences.
