The first of these, a 5-day Train-the-Trainers workshop was conducted in Kigali in collaboration with the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) and Seoul National University, equipping 15 participants with up-to-date knowledge, tools, and techniques in dossier evaluation.
Building on this foundation, three of the newly certified trainers joined a team of experts to facilitate a second training session, held from 23–27 June 2025 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. During this training, 16 EAC-nominated NMRA professionals received hands-on instruction in the evaluation of regulatory dossiers for biological products, guided by the International Council for Harmonisation’s Common Technical Document (ICH CTD) framework.
